Passacaille was written in 2000 and as the title tells us, is based on a repeated base figure, in this case of four bars length. The music, which evolves over this figure, should be enjoyed by any guitar trio. It passes through a differing range of time signatures, which are seamlessly applied while the textures change within what is in fact a rather narrow range of figuration. It is through the skill of the composer that the music is heard with a continuous flow.
