EIKELBOOM, Niels (Hollande)
 Niels Eikelboom, graduated in 1998 from the Zwolle Conservatory and in August 2000 from the Messiaen Academie, both in the Netherlands. He has performed in masterclasses by great guitarists like: Odair Assad, Pavel Steidl, Vladislav Blaha, Carlo Marchione, Aldo Lagrutta, to name a few. Eikelboom, as well as solo performances and ensemble work, has also cooperated in the making of a CD of music by the great composer Pieter van der Staak. He is working as a guitar teacher at the Regional Institute for Artistic Development in Meppel, Holland. Along with Hit the Strings, he has also written two other books, La Magdalena and London-25, which are published by Edition Daminus in Germany.
