His album Pour ceux qui aiment (1979) was acclaimed in Frets Magazine and Guitar Player. Au rythme du vent et des cordes (1981) recorded his first orchestral works. With Verseau, he would win a 1985 Félix for record of the year in the instrumental category. His Romance would be nominated at the ADISQ gala in 1989. Since recording Beatles and Rolling Stones for Guitars in 1991, Claude Sirois has recorded three other CDs and a third collection of pieces at Productions Chants de mon pays.
In addition to giving concerts, workshops, and master classes, Claude Sirois has been teaching guitar for 25 years at his private studio in Laval.
